Outside of the Gears Adaptor, none of the code delivered to partners is locked down, so modifying any behaviour or changing business logic can be done by the partners themselves. Naturally, we can assist with such measures if the partner does not feel comfortable doing so or are lacking in the ASP.Net development department.

Whether utilising information from your Microsoft Dynamics ERP system or from the Content Management Solution, Gears MarketPlace offers enormous flexibility. The standard solution offers a variety of settings for individual webparts to customize behaviour, look-and-feel and can be further extended and developed either by the partner or in conjunction with GearsERP (or any web design bureau).
Strong B2B/B2C configuration options.
Gears MarketPlace can be configured to run in both business to consumer, business to business or hybrid modes between these. It is up to the customer or partner to decide whether to allow for new customers being able to log on and buy products, and whether or not to show pricing for example. As an example, it is easy to set up the e-commerce environments to only show certain information from your Microsoft Dynamics ERP system to only logged in B2B customers, whilst allowing non-logged in customers to only see base product details.
Search Engine Optimized from the start.
Whereas some competing products may offer Search Engine Optimization as an additional package, we deem that it is so essential for the experience that we have included it by default. All category and product pages are all highly Search Engine friendly, both from the URL syntax to having specific keywords for that category or product. Naturally, the product can publish google compliant sitemaps periodically at no extra or hidden costs.
